**Who are we?**

First Subsea, based in Lancaster and part of the First Tech Group, has gone through a major transition in the last five years, transitioning from oil and gas projects to offshore renewables projects where we supply a range of bespoke and patented products, such as; lifting and recovery tools, and cable protection systems. All our products are designed, assembled and tested in-house and we have recently opened a dedicated manufacturing & production facility for our cable protection systems.

As demand has grown for the products and services provided by First Subsea, the need for talented people has also grown in parallel.

**The Role**

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis, based in Lancaster.

The primary functions of this position are to support the Sales Director and Business Development Manager(s) in the generation of tenders, internal sales, sales administration, marketing materials and promotional activities.

You will have previous experience within a sales support role, ideally associated within a manufacturing or engineering industry. You will be a confident, enthusiastic and personable individual with good communication and presentation skills. You will have the ability to demonstrate professionalism in building client relationships and hold commercial awareness.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

- Generate proposals with the guidance of the Sales Director / Managers.
- Register and track client enquiries.
- Liaise with the engineering teams to support sales tender processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors.
- Obtain quotations from contractors in accordance with the company’s Supplier and Purchasing procedure(s).
- Prepare quotations and costings in accordance with company procedures
- Record, collate and maintain client interactions.
- Follow up with clients following quotations and liaise outcomes with the Sales team.
- Assist to generate monthly sales reports.
- Develop supplier relationships to enable appropriate purchasing solutions.
- Source and select new suppliers in accordance with the companies purchasing process where necessary.
- Issue and manage non-disclosure agreements with both clients and suppliers.
- Maintain and develop costing templates and ensure that supply chain costs are current and implemented as appropriate.
- Manage the cloud based smart sheet quote tracker.
- Maintain the administration of sales meetings and travel itineraries
- Assist with the organisation of exhibitions
- Collate and publish social media content.
- Assist with any other duties as required.

- Previous experience within a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering industry
- Proficient user of MS office programmes, primarily Microsoft Excel
- Document control experience
