**Student Event Representative - Stirling**

Are you a proactive and outgoing student looking to gain hands-on experience in event management and community engagement? We are seeking a motivated Student Event Representative to join our team and play a pivotal role in recruiting new partners, attracting sponsors, and liaising with stakeholders within our specific town.

**Responsibilities**:
Partner Identification and Outreach:Collaborate with the team to develop a list of potential partners, including local businesses and organizations.
Reach out to potential partners and present collaboration opportunities for upcoming events.
Build and maintain positive relationships with partners to foster long-term connections.

Sponsorship Acquisition:Assist in creating sponsorship proposals outlining the benefits of supporting our events.
Identify and approach potential sponsors within the town to secure financial support or in-kind contributions.
Work closely with the team to ensure sponsors receive proper recognition and benefits.

Stakeholder Engagement:Identify key stakeholders within the town, such as local authorities, community leaders, and media outlets.
Establish open communication channels to keep stakeholders informed about event plans and seek their input and support.
Represent the organization professionally and positively in all interactions.

Marketing and Promotion:Assist in developing marketing strategies tailored to the specific town to attract attendees to our events.
Utilize social media and other communication platforms to promote events and engage the community.
Collaborate with partners and sponsors to leverage their networks for increased exposure.

Event Support and Coordination:Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and assisting attendees.
Help coordinate event logistics, ensuring smooth execution in collaboration with the team.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled as a student in a college or university.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships.
- Energetic and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to assist in managing event tasks.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules and meetings.
- Passion for community engagement and a desire to make a positive impact on campus and in the town.
