Ashgate House provides nursing and residential care services for 45 residents with late-stage dementia and associated complex care needs. We are recruiting a caring and motivated Activities Lead to join our dedicated team.

Ashgate House is committed to a person-centred approach and high standards of care promoting independence, wellbeing and safety of residents.

- £12.00 per hour
- Full time - 40 hours per week
- Must be flexible to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm
- Free training including Care Certificate, Dementia and Challenging Behaviour training (Dementia Interpreter & Virtual Dementia Tour), QCF(NVQ) and Train the Trainer.

**_Essentials_**
- Excellent communication skills
- Provide high levels of care and support to our residents
- Work alternating weekends
- Well motivated
- Enthusiastic
- Good sense of humour

**_Desirable_**
- Experience of working in a Dementia/Nursing Home setting
- DBS on the update service
- QCF Level 2 or above in health and social care - or equivalent
