Property Assistant

**Skills required**
- Full clean UK Driving License
- Own vehicle with business insurance required to travel to different local sites when required
- Experience with Property Industry lettings/sales
- Keeping up to date knowledge of Laws, Legislations and Regulations
- Able to assist the Property Manager and Assistant Manager with designated date driven tasks
- Good time management
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Confidence to be personable and assertive whilst liaising with tenants and contractors
- Having a common sense approach
**Tasks**
- Managing a portfolio of 50+ properties
- Making sure all safety certificates are up to date
- Making sure all health and safety regulations are being met along with Letting Laws and Legislations
- Dealing with tenant complaints
- Dealing with tenant maintenance issues and organising access for contractors appointments
- Liaising with Accounts Department to monitor contractor’s invoices being paid
- Ensuring that contractors have carried out the required work sufficiently
- Corresponding with Council Tax and Utilities when there is a change of occupancy
- Liaising with Letting Agents whilst vacant properties are being marketed and providing all relevant documentation and forms
- Ensuring that all correspondence/ Safety Certificates/ Agreements and all relevant documentation is scanned and filed correctly
