**Position**: Sales Support Administrator, Process Automation Division

**Responsible to**: UK/Ireland Internal Sales Manager

**Role Description**: The Sales Support Admin Team play a pivotal role within the organisation, supporting our commercial customers and our external Sales Team in the processing of orders and fulfillment of all associated requirements and enquiries.

Working within a small yet dynamic team, this role is varied and responsible for managing orders through the full end to end customer journey, from generation of quote through to delivery shipment and after sales support, including delivery tracking, customs requirements and invoice queries.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Accurate and timely generation of Quotes and ultimately Order requests, through our CRM system (Siebel) and other system platforms
- Effective management and timely response to customers commercial/delivery enquiries such as delivery lead times, product availability, Customs requirements
- Resolution of customer invoice queries through investigation, seeking approval for credit when applicable
- The ownership of Key customers/accounts; providing additional support and adhoc help to ensure customer satisfaction is optimised
- Take ownership of complaints, returns and other issues affecting customer satisfaction
- Working with internal and external colleagues to expedite complex/large orders effectively, adhering to appropriate policies and processes
- Accurate usage and maintenance of key operating system to ensure that account allocation, prices and associated revenues are accurately set up
- Generating account & sales reports for internal team and key customers
- English language and Maths GCSE (Grade C or above).
- At least 3 years‘ experience in a similar commercial (business to business) sales support/admin role (experience in a manufacturing or distribution led company is advantageous).
- Knowledge or experience of the import/export of goods and associated documentation requirements is advantageous.
- Experience of dealing with large bureaucratic organisations and end customers
- Computer literate with the ability to quickly learn new CRM systems and other operating platforms.
- Ability to prioritise, organise, multi task and self manage workload based on business demand, effectively escalating issues when and where appropriate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone/digital experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high regard for exceptional customer service.
- Team player who is self motivated with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable with a consultative selling approach with questioning technique.
- Capable of forging close working relations with a demanding group of sales and account management colleagues.
