From when we sold our very first bra way back in 2005, to today when we sell one approximately every 30 seconds, passion and playfulness is at the heart of everything we do.

We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our Lingerie team on a 1 year FTC Maternity cover.
**The Role**:
Support the Buyer to deliver a range that exceeds customer’s expectations and achieves sales & profit targets through the development and sourcing of products in line with Pour Moi vision and department strategy. Working closely with the Buyer to manage the whole buying lifecycle from initial concept through to trading and monitoring sales and identifying risks and opportunities. Working closely with Merchandising, Design & Technical teams to achieve goals and bring innovation and products that hit the mark for our customer, and supporting the development and day to day management of a Buyers Admin Assistant.
**Position Requirements**:
- Work with Buying, Merchandising, Design and Technical teams to ensure the Lingerie product range excites & meets our target customers demands; balancing trends, newness, key drivers and commerciality.
- Display an in-depth, customer focused knowledge of Pour Moi and the lingerie market & use this to influence your approach.
- Work with and support the Buyer and the Designer to ensure all supplier product development briefing packs are completed in line with the buying critical path and aligned to the required sampling lead times.
- Work with and support the Buyer in sending our costing sheets, following up on these and sharing responsibility in cost price negotiations. Progress sample development aligned to margin targets and buying critical path and bring ideas to the table to help meet targets.
- Work with and support the Buyer in establishing productive working relationships with all suppliers. Communicate with and respond to supplier queries in a timely manner and communicate information as required.
- Support in managing and developing the Buyers Admin Assistant on the team. Managing their day-to-day responsibilities, helping prioritise workload and delegating effectively in line with business needs.
- Along with other team members, responsible for conducting competitor shops, market research, and product and price analysis. The role also requires you to present insights and findings back to the team through presentations.
- Work with the Buyer and Merchandiser to manage and progress the product development critical path, ensuring all products in development and orders placed are meeting the critical path deadlines.
- Encouraging and overseeing the BAA in managing weekly supplier critical path. Supporting them in following up with difficult suppliers and attending weekly critical path meetings with the wider team to feed back any risks.
- Work with the Buyer on specific buying projects such as buying a category or parts of the range that will add value to the business. Through these buying projects develop further buying, range building and product development and negotiation skills for career development.
- Be aware of the departmental seasonal strategy and the overall business strategy. Be able to input into department strategy discussions and tactical plans.
- Be aware of and take responsibility for part of our wholesale strategy and understand the requirements for each of our wholesale partners individually, as well as ability to analyse sales and how they differ across several channels.
- Sample management; Approval, fit & photo shoot sample organisation & sample preparation for internal and external meetings.
