**What’s the purpose of role**:
As one of our Operations Supervisors in our unit at Gatwick Airport, you will be responsible for supervising the service delivery team, checking the daily allocation plan mirrors that of our airlines schedule. You will also ensure that all stakeholder queriesare investigated and logged for a consistent and quality service to our customers. You will be responsible for liaising directly with all internal departments to communicate any schedule increases or changes. Further detail on the role is below. We look forwardto hearing from you in relation to this excellent opportunity.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supervising the dnata catering service delivery product from our two bases at Gatwick. This is ensuring that all teams are allocated on time to meet airline expectations.
- Communication via all platforms and logging events throughout the shift so customer expectations can be exceeded.
- Working as part of a team to deliver on time schedule but also communicating with departmental stakeholders to streamline the operational process.
- Investigation and interrogation of all off schedule airline activity that could compromise the operation and impact other stakeholders.
- Creating allocation plans and completing administration duties for shift handover and pre planning of shifts

**W hat you’ll have**:

- Experience in an aviation industry - desirable
- Excellent management of all stakeholders
- Excellent computer skills including excel and word
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and work within strict deadlines
- Good knowledge of cBase system - desirable
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Self-disciplined, reliable and accurate with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work as a team member and stand alone
- Flexibility in working hours

**What you’ll receive**:

- £13.48 per hour (on completion of a successful probation periodmoving to £15.00 per hour)
- 40 hours per week working shifts on a rota basis including weekends, bank holidays etc
- Shifts are a mixture of days and nights
- Shift hours are 12 hours (moving to 4 on 4 off once training completed)
- Free lunch or breakfast provided whilst on shift

**Inline with the Cival Authority regulations you will be required to undergo a full five year background check including criminal record checks prior to commencing employment
