Day/Night Duty Manager at SSP Careers

Compensation: £14.13 per hour (including an additional £1.50 per hour for shifts worked between midnight and 6am).


Shift Schedule: We have (37.5hrs) positions available. Day Shift - 6:30am to 3pm / Afternoon - 2:30pm to 11pm / Night Shift - 10:30pm to 7am.

Flexibility to work across all shift patterns is essential.

  • Successful candidates must provide references for the last 5 years and complete a Criminal Record Check as per Airport Security Regulations.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old to perform certain tasks and serve alcohol.

AS A DUTY MANAGER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Having at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospitality or retail environment.
  • Creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere that exceeds customer expectations while consistently striving for service improvement.
  • Guiding and supporting your colleagues, ensuring a safe working and dining environment while being the go-to person for daily inquiries.
  • Coordinating team efforts, overseeing the unit's opening and closing, ensuring operational excellence, adhering to guidelines, and completing necessary documentation.
  • Focusing on operational efficiency, staying informed about unit performance, championing improvements, and simplifying operations.
  • Recognizing and celebrating exceptional service within the team, leading by example, and promoting inclusivity and motivation.
  • Building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and making thoughtful decisions to ensure team success and deliver excellence in customer service.
