**_ABOUT THE ROLE:_**
Leo Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for an award-winning telecommunications company who are looking to hire an ambitious Voice Systems Developer who will enjoy developing and maintaining the company’s core voice systems.
**As a Voice Systems Developer**:
- You will be given the opportunity to get involved in delivering a variety of voice related projects and will be responsible for developing and maintaining voice platforms
- You will work closely with Senior Management to ensure new features across the voice network are integrated effectively
- You will be a point of escalation for troubleshooting and fixing any problems across multiple voice platforms
**Location**:Ideally, the company is looking for someone to be located within commutable distance of Poole, Dorset so that the team can collaborate within the office a couple of days per week, however they are also open to considering anyonewith relevant skills and experience on a fully remote working basis located anywhere in the UK.

**_THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:_**
Have experience working in the telecoms industry or a similar environment
Have knowledge of the following:
- Freeswitch
- Opensips and/or Kamailio
- Linux operating systems - Redhat/CentOS/Oracle
- Voice related protocols such as SIP, RTP, sRTP, SDP
- WAN Protocols - Ipv4, IPv6, VLANS, TCP, UDP
- Encryption technologies, such as TLS
Ideally have knowledge of the following technologies - these are advantageous
- SS7 switches and protocols
- MySQL, Percona, Redis, MongoDB
- Docker, Git
- Python, Perl, or similar
