**Elizabeth Finn Homes Ltd - Clinical Training Coordinator**

As the Home Clinical Training Coordinator, you will be working collaboratively with the General Manager, Clinical
Care Manager and Operations Support Manager to coordinate training, learning and development requirements to meet the Homes key training objectives.

**_The key training objectives will primarily be concentrated around Infection control and prevention and Induction of new staff. _**

This role will support the Clinical Care Manager and will be responsible for monitoring compliance against the Key
Lines of Enquiry, Quality and Compliance Audit and the Homes training matrix to ensure key training objectives are met, as well as continually reviewing and recommending ways of working that remain up to date, compliant and that offers innovative, cost effective learning solutions to both a clinical and non-clinical team

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinating required training for new starters, ensuring individual training profiles are implemented and maintained on the Homes training site together with maintaining key training material available for CQC inspection. Liaising with the Home management team to ensure inductions are implemented and completed and this information provided in monthly training report to Operation Support Manager.
- Supporting, tracking and monitoring employees recruited into clinical and non-clinical roles, ensuring relevant training courses are scheduled and details are shared with the employees, tracking completion of the courses / on line modules and setting reminders for course deadlines and probationary interview dates
- Monitoring E Learning course completion, creating escalations for non-compliance, tracking and monitoring training compliance and creating reminders for scheduled courses to be completed. In addition to setting up reminders for refresher training to be completed where appropriate (for expired courses e.g. first aid, fire warden). Generating monthly reports for Operations Support Manager for Senior Managers Meeting to track

Home compliance and performance
- Liaising with the relevant Preceptor / Mentor / Buddies to track and monitor training across the Home.
- Supporting the HR and Operations Support Manager with the delivery of the training strategy for the Elizabeth

Finn Homes Ltd at a local Homes level, communicating the training matrix calendar to the relevant Heads ofDepartment, creating information for face to face training days. The main area for focus will be Infection Control and Prevention during an outbreak ensuring 100% compliance for hand hygiene and PPE training.
- Supporting with the coordination of training sessions, scheduling course dates and locations (including meeting space), communicating dates and ensuring delegates are scheduled onto the courses, course materials prepared and printed, and refreshments ordered where required
- Where required adapting online training information into soft copy for employees for whom on line training is challenging.
- Collating attendance sheets and feedback forms for all training courses completed across the remit. Implementing and initiating post course evaluation information. Monitoring the feedback information for improvement initiatives and CQC information
- Maintaining the employee data for the training matrix for Infection Control and induction. and amending where necessary
- Actively monitoring training compliance per department
- Escalating non-compliance
- Distributing, collating and monitoring pre and post personal and course evaluation forms

- A recognised training qualification is preferable or be prepared to work towards.

- Experience of working in a 'hands on' environment, preferably from a Learning and Development role
- Previous experience in training and supervision of new inductees
- Must be able to evidence strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to maintain training spreadsheets

- Good organisational skills
- Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and show initiative, with an ability to work unsupervised and to manage own workload
