The role
Fugro are looking a Facilities Coordinator to support in the facilities management of our Wallingford site. This is a diverse and interesting role where you will be responsible for coordinating various onsite facility services and as well as have responsibility for the overall management of the offsite staff house. You will be required to communicate regularly with management, employees, and contractors to advise of any changes to facility services and ensure swift resolution of facility issues.

Who you’ll be working with:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will be working closely with employees and management across the business. Regular liaison with procurement and accounts teams and contractors.
Here’s what a typical day would be like:
- Working with the Facilities Manager to ensure improvements of the facility.
- Ensure all contractors are HSE compliant.
- Supervising reception and arranging cover as required.
- Ensuring compliance with copyright regulations.
- Scanning old reports to transfer to database.
- Purchasing books and reports when requested.
- Management of the local staff house.
- Coordinate events at the Wallingford site, liaising with those involved and ensuring AV equipment and IT set up, and catering requirements.
- Management of car park and outside communal areas.
- Liaison with onsite catering service to ensure staff requirements in place.
- Liaison and coordination of sub-contract cleaning staff and management.
- Promote a positive and safe working environment and maintain ethical and professional relationship with suppliers.
- Continual monitoring of all areas of responsibility within the facility.
Who we’re looking for:
- Previous management experience of managing administration staff
- Experience of implementing new processes
- Previous experience working in facilities is essential
- Excellent command of the English language.
