The Seagate Human Resources team is looking for a Human Resources Officer to support the business by providing a professional and comprehensive HR service. The HR Officer works collaboratively across the HR Team assisting with the development and deployment of business-driven HR projects/strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people.

We are a dynamic and fast paced organization, supporting 24 X 7 manufacturing operations and development teams.

**About the role - you will**:

- Provide advice and guidance in the following areas: employee relations, performance management, coaching, employee development, absence management and employee engagement
- Assist with the daily operations of the HR Business Partner team.
- Assist with the launch, communication and administration of HR programs and services across all HR specialties
- Streamline HR work by creating efficient workflows and documenting standard operating procedures
- Develop and drive people related strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations in line with organisation objectives
- Lead and participate in local or global project teams on HR projects and initiatives

**About you**:

- Experience in managing employee relations issues
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- Can anticipate and identify problems and can take initiative to make improvements
- Good analytical and project management skills with the ability to organise data
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with customers

**Your experience includes**:

- At least two years’ experience working in a HR Officer role.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in managing employee relations including grievance, disciplinary, performance and attendance management.
- Experience in the development and delivery of employment engagement strategies and initiatives
