Part Time Transport Administrator

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established family run business based near Market Drayton. They are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team on a part time basis into their Deliveries team. The aim of this role is to support the organisation by ensuring proof of deliveries have been obtained for each delivery and these are recorded against each specific order so the correct invoices can be generated.
**Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to**:
- Processing proof of deliveries for transport orders ensuring that the individual client requirements are met in providing evidence of delivery in accordance with their individual deadlines
- Obtaining confirmation of delivery from delivery point should the driver be unable to obtain necessary paperwork
- Updating the transport system with amendments to delivery information
- Price rating transport orders using the appropriate matrix
- Confirming jobs through to the sales orders screen on the transport system to enable the system generation of weekly invoices and sending to clients as per individual requirements
- To deal proactively with all client problems should they arise, responding to requests for copies of proof of deliveries within necessary timeframe
- Provide cover for other team members within the department when holiday/illness occurs in ensuring priority/key actions are adhered to as requested by the Finance Manager
**Skills and Experience**
- Must have previous experience of working in an office administration/accounts role
- Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks on own initiative
- IT literate including being confident using Microsoft Excel to a reasonable level
- Knowledge of Accounting and Transport systems would be an advantage but training will be provided
- Able to work unsupervised although support will always be available
- Customer satisfaction orientated
