Part Time Administrative Assistant

A Part time Administrative Assistant to help develop a very well respected legal services provider which specialises in providing Will Writing and Probate law.
We have been established for 26 years and have amassed an excellent reputation nationally and our commitment to customer service is paramount.An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, committed person to join our small, friendly team.
Annual inflation rate increments. Full training will be given in company procedures.
**Duties include**
Sorting incoming post, recording receipt on system, scanning received documents and passing to relevant clerk for action
Franking outgoing post
Scanning documents to system prior to secure destruction
Keeping client computer records updated
Writing and sending letters using prepared templates
Reviewing client files for update purposes
Making and taking telephone calls to and from clients, suppliers and business associates
Completing files
Filing
Photocopying
General Scanning
General office assistance e.g. shredding as and when required
**Necessary skills/experience**:
An ability to follow instructions
Attention to detail
Ability to assimilate new tasks in a reasonable time frame
Effective communication skills : written and spoken
Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised (after training)
A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher
Honesty and integrity
Flexibility
Experience in the legal field and/or in will writing is desired but not essential
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
