Admin & Bookings Assistant - Cardiology | Duchy Hospital | Full Time 37.5 Hours
Cardiology Services at Duchy Hospital are seeking to appoint a full time Computer literate, well organised and personable Cardiac Administration and Booking Assistant. This post is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and provision of Cardiac services within the Hospital.
The role
The responsibilities associated with this post are varied but include booking and re-scheduling Cardiac Physiologist tests and appointments, liaising with both internal and external Medical Secretary’s to ensure adequate clinic provision, charging of consumables and liaising with Company representatives, co-ordinating servicing of equipment, uploading of results from internal and external providers and assisting the Department Manager in non-clinical day-to-day operations.
The post is full time but hours are not set and flexibility with working hours supported.
What you will bring with you- Excellent organisational skills- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Excellent communication skills - written and oral- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel- The ability to work within a team- The ability to time-manage- Experience using a Patient Administration System (PAS) an advantage
