Cornwall Foundation Trust and Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust are on a journey of change and recovery, working with partners across the system to be as efficient and productive as possible with a workforce that is fit for today and for the future.
The Workforce Efficiencies Programme is a critical part of the System Recovery Programme and we are looking for three colleagues to come and join the team on delivering the workstreams within Workforce Efficiencies.

They should understand the future direction of medical workforces and be passionate about working alongside our business as usual teams to shape the medical workforce across health and care in Cornwall and IOS. They will be responsible for developing the workstream and schemes within it and delivering, at pace, transformation that will have a high impact on quality of patient care and experience.
This post is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.
The post holder will have lead responsibility for ensuring there is collaboration on all workstream activity across the health and care system in Cornwall and IOS. This includes the design, delivery and sustainability of a future fit medical workforce with medical leaders and business as usual medical staffing teams. This includes overall leadership and management of
the work, team, processes & policies, systems, associated SLAs & KPIs and delivery of the c£20million efficiencies.
We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
We are a people organisation and people matter to us. As part of the team, you'll help support the health and wellbeing of the people who live and visit this beautiful part of the UK.
Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.
We work in people's homes, in community clinics and bases. Some staff work from one of our 13 community hospitals. Our aspiration is to have great people, provide great care, be a great place to work and a great partner.
Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
