Our client, based in Stockport and a family-owned business, are the UK’s leading Point of Sale manufacturers. Their state-of-the-art premises boasts a huge range of products and services, with industry leading technology.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, they are looking for a highly organised and experienced Purchasing Administrator to manage the end to end buying process, negotiate and assess products and suppliers to understand commercially viable solutions and practices to increase profits within agreed timescales.

**The Role**:

- Negotiate procurement and fixed price periods with suppliers from the UK and Europe
- Attend daily procurement meetings and report on cost changes
- Deliver buying processes within agreed timescales and targets
- Sourcing high quality products and supplies, whilst cost saving
- Managing the supply chain by securing the best rates
- Managing and monitoring the supply of materials
- Monitoring the invoicing process
- Negotiating material costs, payments terms and carriage
- Recording up to date documents, systems and registers with accurate information
- Ensure Primary and Secondary suppliers in place for all lines
- Understand the marketplace, specifically competitor performance
- Monitor performing lines and taking action to boost benefit
- Understand the production processes and impact on purchasing decisions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Careful and methodical, with a strong work ethic
- Experience of managing and negotiating with multiple suppliers (desirable)
- Excellent negotiation / communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Competent IT skills.

**Salary & Benefits**

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, £22,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience. The benefits of working for this company are incredible with the following being just a few of the outstanding perks:
