- IT&D are on a journey; we are transforming our ways of working and looking for Agile professionals who can not only do the day-to-day but also support, teach, and coach our teams to help them develop their agile abilities._
- The Delivery Lead role is the first of many new roles that have an agile focus within the Delivery Management function. It is primarily here to help lead, oversee, and ensure successful delivery of multiple projects from any of our_ _portfolios. Our projects span all or part of the university's key initiatives as part of the overall strategy. This could be working with our infrastructure teams on the installation of new technology for our flexible learning environments, to how we plan and deliver the IT requirements of our new library building or working with our professional services teams to build software to help make the lives of our students better - our list of exciting and engaging projects is growing._
- Along with providing excellent project governance, you'll use your Agile skillset_ to support and mentor our current teams to help them_ _focus on the priorities to deliver projects to the highest possible standard._
- _As a Delivery Lead, you'll already be an expert in your field and be comfortable using agile delivery techniques such as Scrum, Lean or SAFe. Knowledge of traditional / waterfall delivery methods will also be an advantage (we can't agile everything, all the time)._
- _You'll have excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, including the ability to influence across portfolios._
- _Have a proven track record of collaborative and transparent ways of working with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation_
- _Experience of implementing change programmes_
- _Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to bring the ‘tech speak' to an appropriate level to aid stakeholder understanding_
