Field Care Supervisor/Manager

**Main Functions of the Job**:

- To help setup a new branch of Visiting Angels in the Oxford area. Recruiting carers, servicing new clients and ensuring delivery of a Premium and High Quality Care Service
- To assist in the care delivery functions reporting to the Registered Manager.
- To be on Call when required
- To provide cover as required in duties of a Caregiver.
- Assist in recruitment, selection, and induction of new employees, in numbers agreed in line with the business plan for the location.
- To assist in ensuring all staff are trained in accordance with Visiting Angels policies and procedures.
- Visit, or ensure that clients are visited on a monthly basis as a minimum. The purpose of these visits includes conducting Spot Checks, liaising with Clients, conducting Care Plan reviews and providing supervision to Senior Caregivers and Caregivers
- To assist with scheduling, preferably with knowledge of Access to Care Planning and People PlannerTo schedule new client packages and new staff on the system.
- Implement and maintain the standards required by legislation related to the registration of Visiting Angels.

**Experience / Knowledge**
- Relevant experience as a senior carer / Field supervisor/ manager and be ready take the next step in your career?
- Excellent understanding of the needs of people who require care and support and the provision of care services in line with best practice.
- Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to care services and risk management.

**Skills and Abilities**
Honest, trustworthy and reliable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support the delivery of care
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of building positive working relationships with people who use the service and their families, staff and other health and social care professionals
Client-focussed, specifically putting their needs first

**Other**

Must be a driver with own car

Ability to travel to various locations throughout the working day and to office in Middlesex

Flexible approach to working unsociable hours, such as evenings, weekends and bank holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,500.00 per year

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
