MR PORTER are now seeking a talented Picture Assistant to join the Production team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

- Process all monthly image usage through our company invoicing system, liaising with external suppliers, setting up new suppliers on our payment system, following up on any queries and handling payment of invoices, ensuring payment is made on time by working with the accounts team
- Manage picture usage and fee agreement spreadsheets and provide regular updates and breakdowns to the Picture Director
- Work with the Style Council Coordinator and Design teams to consistently update the Style Council library with editorial locations and staff and member recommendations
- Develop relationships with new and existing picture libraries, photographers, bloggers, brands, press departments, and PR companies and ensure our picture source database is kept up to date
- Liaise regularly with the Editorial and Design teams to ensure hi-res images are in and correct caption/credit information is supplied on schedule
- Check the pictures and caption/credit information is correct on all published stories
- Keep up to date with trends in fashion, art, music, restaurants and travel in order to contribute regularly to ideas for stories and content
- The type of person we are looking for:

- This is an entry-level role, experience in a similar position is advantageous but not necessary
- An understanding of image use (you will learn how to source and license imagery in the role)
- An interest in photography, fashion, art, music and culture
- You must be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- The role is fast paced, the ability to work well under pressure and deal effectively with last minute changes is important
- Good understanding of digital imaging requirements and Photoshop
- A friendly, approachable and professional office and telephone manner- _
