HR Coordinator

**Description**:
We are recruiting for a HR Coordinator to join the team in our open plan and collaborative Cardiff office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their HR career.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will deliver a wide range of HR support across the Firm. You will act as a point of contact for people at all levels, providing accurate and consistent advice in relation to the Firm’s policies and procedures.
Day-to-day, you will be involved with different areas including:
- All elements of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract preparation, changes to terms and conditions, processing resignations and exit interviews;
- Carrying out inductions and ID checks for starters;
- Managing flexible working requests;
- Supporting the team in conducting meetings such as absence, maternity and grievances;
- Assisting with the team’s recruitment activity, including graduate recruitment and open days;
- Dealing with a range of employee relations issues, escalating to senior team members where appropriate;
- Supporting the team in the preparation of the monthly payroll;
- Using the HR system to manage employee data and produce reports as required; and
- Assisting with team project work.
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
We’re looking for following:
- Previous experience in a HR generalist role.
- CIPD qualification, or a willingness to work towards qualification in the future.
- A genuine interest in people and HR.
- Excellent customer service skills, recognising the importance of providing an excellent service to the business.
- A highly skilled communicator who is able to act with sensitivity and adapt to different situations.
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to operate with an appropriate level of autonomy.
