**Job Description**:
The HR Assistant’s primary objective will be to provide comprehensive customer service and administration support service to the department and internal clients across EMEA and APAC, ensuring the appropriate procedures and supporting documentation are completed and filed.

You will be involved with all HR duties, to include (but not limited to), recruitment support, new starter/leaver administration, Letter/documentation management,, HRIS system administration, and filing.

The HR Assistant will act as the first port of call to employees and external partners for all HR related queries.

A good understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key. A proactive and flexible approach is key to manage the changing needs and priorities of the team. Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise may be necessary.

HR Assistant's responsibilities- Ensure all employee documents are filed promptly and ensures prompt and accurate update of employee data in databases- Prepare employee correspondence relating to changes in employment terms, pay, reporting lines, job, benefits etc. ensuring the necessary approvals are documented.- Work closely with the Recruitment Business Partner, managers and IT for better employee experience throughout the recruitment process- Administration support for key HR Systems - HR, Leave Management, Performance Management- Improve internal HR Administration processes and ensure future compliance of all record keeping- Ensures the HR databases are efficiently managed and accurate and updated on a daily basis-
- Process new joiners paperwork and document for payroll - working with HR Business manager- Review personnel files and ensure all records are retained within the defined time line. All documents identified as obsolete or beyond period of necessity to be securely destroyed- Compile payroll changes each month- Drafting of maternity, paternity letters and References- Management of probation periods each month- Assist HR Business Manager in handling the initial steps of employment relations issues such as grievances, disciplinaries and employee wellbeing.- Leads visa and immigration matters in conjunction with the appointed immigration specialist, including overseas transfers/secondments- General administrative support for ad hoc requirements as and when required.

HR Assistant's skills and competencies- Experience as a HR Assistant or HR administrator’s assistant- Understanding various HR software systems, Workday and CloudPay highly regarded- Computer literate and strong word and excel skills - Pivot tables and v lookups- Good understanding of labour laws- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise- Interpersonal with good communicative skills- BSc in HR or a relevant field- CIPD highly regarded
