This would be a Full Time Fixed Term contract until 31st October 2024

Swissport are providing flights from Southampton Airport to Jersey Airport, return.

Accommodation whilst working on the island (B&B or Hotel)

Transportation to and from the airport whilst on shift

2 x meals whilst on shift (breakfast & dinner)

Shift pattern will predominantly working a 6/3 roster that will be heavily weekend biased.

Training will preferably be in Jersey to incorporate an airport tour and local familiarisation.

Car parking is provided at Southampton Airport, all cost will be covered by Swissport.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Airside Ramp Agents. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

You’ll receive** £11.64** per hour for the initial six months. Throughout this period, Swissport will actively foster the development of your skills and knowledge necessary for the role. Upon achieving these benchmarks and successfully completing the probationary period, you will receive an additional 1.5% increment in compensation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
- Marshal aircraft to and from gates, ensuring safe and precise positioning.
- Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Perform aircraft servicing tasks, including cabin cleaning, lavatory servicing, and water replenishment.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including aircraft marshalling signals and hazardous material handling guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and airline partners.

Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check
