A growing and intimate firm of Chartered Accountants has the perfect opportunity for an accountancy graduate/AAT qualified/or part-qualified ACCA to join their team as an **Accounts Assistant** on a permanent basis,

You will be able to grow personally and professionally getting hands-on experience working closely with the Directors of this close-knit firm, who has over 30 years post qualification experience. They combine streetwise perspective with professional training. As a general practice the firm deals with interesting mixed bag of clients.

**The ideal superstar**:

- Is a motivated self-starter who understands that there are people behind the numbers.
- You must have good communication skills within written and spoken.
- Be a relevant graduate (AAT Qualified/Part Qualified ACCA)
- Have one year’s accountancy practice experience.
- Live within commuting distance of the office.
- Good excel skills.
- Be able to start at short notice and be willing for an on-the-job assessment.

**Key experience and learning will entail**:

- Preparing Financial Statements and tax returns for companies and charities, so you will need to be organised.
- Doing self-assessment tax returns for individuals and partnerships will be fun and rewarding.
- Computer based double entry bookkeeping, payroll and VAT will also be an opportunity to develop valuable skills that you can sell in the future.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
