Our client has a permanent vacancy for Head of Marketing. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will be pivotal in the future success of the business, driving commercial growth through world class communication, marketing, and commercial bids.You will lead, shape and develop the UK Marketing team and be part of the Global Marketing team which operates in over 20 different regions. This role will enable growth by driving world class digital experiences, delivering and communicating world class valuepropositions and acquiring and retaining B2B, B2C and B2C2B customer through marketing, product launches and sales enablement.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Drive customer acquisition through marketing campaigns - direct and digital
- Manage the development of online properties including websites, products and services
- Lead 'e-commerce’ strategy to deliver greater returns through various digital channels
- Manage all digital marketing activities (PPC, Digital Media, SEO etc.)
- Manage third party relationships effectively including agencies or partners
- Deliver on revenue and customer growth targets through the provision of world class bids and website experiences
- Liaise effectively with IT Teams in UK and US to ensure all opportunities for system improvement are being considered and appropriate advanced
- Collaboratively drive product and digital innovation
- Lead and manage all aspects of the marketing mix with a particular focus on customer acquisition through digital and direct marketing platforms across UK/Ireland markets
- Work closely with product and sales teams to initiate and optimize digital campaigns that contribute to demand generation
- Deliver consistent and up-to-date content across all digital channels, (social, web etc) continually growing and engaging digital audiences.
- Develop imaginative social media programmes, optimising cost effectiveness and potential
- Implement performance metrics, tracking, and reporting on all marketing activity, analysing performance and ROI on a continual basis
- Understand the different customer segments across multiple countries, the sales funnel and nurturing lifecycle
- Deliver increased customer insight and segmentation focused on opportunities for upsell / cross-sell
- Identify new market trends and product development opportunities in the UK and Ireland

**Requirements**:
**Essentials**
- A senior marketer with the gravitas and ability to contribute strategically as well as a 'hands on’ operationally
- Demonstrable record in developing and leading marketing teams in both B2C and B2B
- A digital evangelist with a track record in growth
- Operational management experience in a complex 'e-commerce’ environment
- Experience in leading commercial bids including the complete management of the 'bid pipeline’ including renewal opportunities
- A passionate, forward-thinking self-starter, with a positive attitude and collaborative manner
- A digital marketing leader who can articulate a vision to deliver their vision by inspiring and energising others
- Can demonstrate strategic flexibility and is delivery focused
- Comfortable working with and presenting to a 'C Suite’ audience
- Professional Marketing Qualification (e.g. Senior Qualification from the CIM)
- A clear and confident communicator
- Well organised and thorough, with excellent attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and within budget
- Creative thinker with extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on creative and dynamic marketing and product strategies
- Commercially astute and customer focussed
