Due to continued growth, UK Truck & Plant Group, are looking to engage, a full time, office based Head of Marketing & Sales, to oversee all elements of sales, business development and marketing within the business.

Based in our busy bedford Headoffice, you’ll be fully versed in social media, seo and web marketing, but also be able to lead a sales and business development team. As a head of marketing, you will be expected to create and implement our marketing strategy as a whole, encorporating business development, increasing product offering, and generating new leads via web based advertising, social media and via press release to industry magazines. It also involves overseeing the bid & tender team, sourcing new opportunities and monitoring success/ROI

The business also has numerous excising media projects which require a sharp eye for product placement deals with suppliers, whilst generating a brand, and social media following to continuously improve awareness, build revenue and promote suppliers on our platforms using tik tok, and YouTube, along with TV programmes (filming already arranged)

**The role involves**:

- Managing a growing marketing team based from BEDFORD
- Communicate with the sales team and develop a marketing strategy based on the requirements of the individual companies and on group level
- Develop action plans against the forementioned strategy
- Monitor and ensure action plans are executed
- Develop key performance indicators and key success indicators which ensure business targets are set and achieved
- Report to the directors once monthly, and senior management weekly
- Monitor and improve SEO to drive new enquiries
- Produce high quality SEO Content for use within all areas of the websites - particularly for the Blog of each website.
- Carry out regular Keyword Research for new ideas and produce content around these.
- Monitoring current trends in search and use this information in content production
- Monitoring Google Algorithm updates and ensure all websites are best optimised based on these
- Setting up conversion tracking through Google Tag manager
- Take charge of Technical SEO of all sites - pages peed, redirects, fixing links, on-page SEO
- Creating, Monitoring, and updating Google Ads accounts for all entities (UK only)
- Managing all communications with Web Development Team and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Use website interactions to generate leads.
- Carry out link building strategies.
- Overseeing social media
- Help to generate monthly reports to be circulated on progress
- Liaise and manage media contracts on-site for TV filming
- Build supplier relationships with product placement, to promote their business off the back of our brand, in return for discounted or free product
- Oversee the bid & tender team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
