Business Development Manager
Manchester
£45,000 to £50,000 Basic salary - OTE 2% - Company car, laptop, phone and great benefits.
We are the UK’s number one gate/ barriers and road blocks manufacturer. We are looking to add to our successful sales team.
Job Role
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
Manage new client’s expectations and continue to build relationships identify potential clients and the decision makers within client organisations.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s key contact base.
Plan approaches and pitches. Work with your Line Manager to meet objectives and develop strategic plan to increase the UK footprint and customer base.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Report back weekly on activity and prospective business opportunities.
To offer the full security solution package and up sale opportunities.
Ensure that the year’s activity meets agreed company objectives.
Maintain and build a database of Sales data gained from numerous sources.
Maintain focus on the agreed annual sales targets.
Attend sales management meetings.
Achieve goals and incentives set by your Line Manager
Check all sales quotations being issued from the Sales Department and ensure they are accurate prior to issue.
Maintain and update customer databases.
Manage customer relationships.
Explore ways of improving existing products and services.
Review training needs.
Ensure you maintain tidiness and are organised.
Inform Line Manager of all training updates and training requirements.
Attend Training Courses as and when required.
Any other task requested by Line Manager.

- Ability to work professionally alongside colleagues and customers
- Analytical
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Driving License
We are searching for an account manager that has experience in selling water treatment and water hygiene solutions to either local government, industrial, commercial, hospitals and health clubs. Alternatively, some who has vast experience in selling intoFacility management companies will be considered.
Within this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts and growth as well as acquiring new clients.
You will have a desire to exceed OTE and earn £55,000+. In return, you will be offered an open ended commission structure and excellent support from this market leading organisation.
