Support and Inclusion officers working across BCP

**_ Are you passionate about supporting people and helping to resolve homelessness?_**

We are looking for highly motivated Support and Inclusion Officers to join our Housing Options and partnership team. If you are as passionate about helping people with housing problems as we are, we have exciting career opportunities available.

You will have an awareness homelessness and it’s causes, as well as an ability to put people at ease and work with empathy and in a trauma informed manner.

Experience of working with people is required and a drive to support people to prevent or resolve homelessness.

This rewarding role will challenge you every day to use your excellent people skills and problem-solving ability. You will be part of a supportive and motivated team, helping people in often complex and difficult situations, including homelessness.

If you can:

- Communicate effectively, to _really _understand how to help people to resolve their housing situation
- Manage a caseload effectively within competing demands
- Collaborate with residents, other services and your colleagues & help them to find a lasting solution to their problem
- Understand homelessness prevention and support, proactively working to prevent housing crisis.

Experience in this field is desirable but we are looking for those who have the right attitude and behaviours to learn and carry out this role.
