**About the role**

The post-holder will formalise disability support for University College students, providing specialist information advice and guidance to both prospective and current students and will assist the Head of Library and Student Services in ensuring that an outstanding, student-centred service is provided.

The Student Services Team provides information, advice and guidance on a range of support issues. The service is free, confidential and available to all students. You will raise awareness of and promote a positive, respectful and inclusive culture, which enables a positive student experience with, access, progress and retention support for disabled students. You will work with colleagues and key stakeholders to meet strategic outcomes and ensure inclusivity for disabled students and compliance with relevant legislation.

The post-holder will be committed to the continual improvement of services to enrich the student experience, innovative and collaborative in approach, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. This is an exciting time to join AECC University College and to contribute to the continued success of the Student and Library Services Team.

**About the person**

To be successful in this role, you need to be adaptable, flexible, proactive and forward thinking with the ability to work independently and as part of the team.

You will also require excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience in providing excellent services. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines are also essential requirements. You must have a high level of digital competency.
