**Support and Inclusion officers working across BCP**
**_ Are you passionate about supporting people and helping to resolve homelessness?_**
We are looking for highly motivated Support and Inclusion Officers to join our Housing Options and Partnership team. If you have an interest in preventing homelessness and are passionate about supporting people, we have exciting career opportunities available.
You will have an awareness of homelessness and it’s causes, as well as an ability to put people at ease and work with empathy, in a trauma informed manner.
Previous experience of working with people whilst having the drive and determination to prevent or resolve homelessness is required. We are looking for those who have the right attitude and behaviours to learn, so a flair for proactive problem solving and a pragmatic approach is desirable for this role.
This rewarding role will challenge you every day to use your excellent people skills and problem-solving ability. You will be part of a supportive and motivated team, helping people in often complex and difficult housing situations.
If you can:
- Communicate effectively, to _really _understand how to support people to secure and sustain accommodation
- Manage a caseload effectively within competing demands
- Collaborate with residents, other services and your colleagues
- Have a creative “can do” attitude
