Beaufort Childcare

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual to complete a Childcare apprenticeship with Beaufort Childcare in Southbourne, Bournemouth.

Based in Southbourne, Bournemouth, Beaufort Childcare offers a preschool setting with wrap around services, and a big interest in nature and the environment. Beaufort Childcare has been operating for over 30 years since 1993, benefits from one big room, in addition to lots of outdoor space, and resources for example our bug house, mud kitchen, and allotment with growing vegetables.

Beaufort Childcare pride themselves on being a nature centred childcare that goes above and beyond to ensure that all children in their care enjoy and receive a fun nature orientated learning environment.

Duties include but aren’t exclusive to:

- Supporting children with personal care
- Supporting children with feeding and snacks
- Interacting with parents
- Recording observations on Baby Days App
- Planning activities for the children
- Preparing activities and participating with the children
- Following safe guarding procedures
- Following health and safety procedures
- Keeping the children safe at all times
- Using your own interests to motivate the children
- Accompanying the children outdoors

You ideally will have GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language & Maths, or equivalent; however please note that in the event you progress onto a Level 3 apprenticeship on completion of the Level 3 you must have grades A*-C/4-9 GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

There is the prospect of a permanent position and career progression for the successful applicant.
