We are looking for a Study Support Coach to support our PMLD and Complex needs department.

The Vine is a department with over 50 Learners with Complex needs and behaviours that can challenge. We deliver a varied Curriculum to meet each of our learners' individual needs in line with their EHCP's. Our highly skilled team takes pride in developing our learners' personal and preparation for adulthood skills to prepare them for their future life. We have strong emphasis on working as a team, offering mutual support and flexibility while striving for the highest standards for our learners. Our ultimate goal is to enable our learners to become as independent as possible and lead a happy fulfilled life.

We are looking for an experienced member of staff to contribute to the delivery of our courses in Independent Living skills with the focus on the key aspects of The Preparation for Adulthood framework and the RARPA framework

You will help support with the development of Programme of study in line with the objectives of the curriculum

Creating interventions and resources to engage and develop learners.

You will support both staff and students with their wellbeing.

Assessing the progress the learners make, marking work and feeding back in a way which helps them develop their abilities and understanding

Tracking learner outcomes and working to ensure students are making progress

You will also work as part of a team to create a nurturing, positive environment for the learners

You will have a supporting teaching and learning/ teaching assistant and or learning mentor/coaching qualification or commitment to achieving within 1 year of appointment.

Proven experience of working with SEND / PMLD learners, providing impactful intervention strategies to aid success.
