Camhs Crisis Support Worker

The CAMHS crisis team works with the children and young people of Derby City and South Derbyshire who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The team offer clinic based intervention, assertive outreach, home treatment, in reach to hospital and community support work.
The support worker role will be supported by the team and will work alongside other clinicians to ensure care plans and safety plans are adhered to.
The role covers Derby City and South Derbyshire. In reach visits to local and out of area hospitals are an essential part of the job.
CAMHS provide a robust supervision model, with regular CPD and training opportunities.
We are a developing a creative service that adapts to the changing needs of the young people we work with.
The service is part of the CYP - IAPT programme and works to these principles.
