My client is a highly dynamic Insurance broker with Head Office based in North Sheilds where the business roots firmly lie. The business supports provision of specialist insurance products for specific target markets which continues to evolve as the competitive market changes. The company’s expertise in these markets is second to none, and it prides itself on being forward-thinking and customer focused.

Due to continued growth and we have an opportunity for a Motor Insurance Credit Hire Specialist Advisor to join our Claims Department to provide support to our growing customer base.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Having a full understanding of the credit hire principles of need, rate, period, mitigation, impecuniosity and enforceability. You will have regularly argued these points through both the pre & post-litigation process.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of credit hire case law and latest developments in the market.
- Demonstrating good judgement, technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Able to prioritise, ensure deadlines are met through effective time management and make good decisions under pressure.
- Negotiating with third parties and managing guidance/expectations
- Ability to work effectively with customers, third party providers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to deliver high level of customer satisfaction reflective of client brand.

**Key qualities & experience required include**:

- Extensive (minimum of 2 years) credit hire claims handling experience, to include GTA and non-GTA, is essential with experience of taking referrals and providing advice to others.
- Knowledge of insurance claims and insurance industry practices
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple claims simultaneously
- High level of attention to detail coupled with the ability to follow procedures & guidelines at all times.
- Ability to work as part of an effective Team.
- Excellent negotiation and strong communication skills.
- Good judgement, technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
