Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator

**Location**:
Merlin Business Centre (with occasional travel to all Silverline Group care homes in Scotland and Yorkshire)
**Purpose of role**:
You will also undertake general HR administration tasks to support the HR function across Scotland and Yorkshire and the wider Silverline Care organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Recruitment**
You will also:
- Liaise with the HR Manager and Home Managers regarding the status of vacancies each week.
- Place adverts on appropriate media (internal and external).
- Maintain information in relation to all aspects of the recruitment process from advert stage through to appointment and induction of new employees.
- Shortlist CVs, arrange interviews and respond to applicants.
- Ensure websites contain accurate and up to date information at all times.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies to source key positions and to manage a library of terms and conditions.
- Manage recruitment on the HR system.
- Prepare and send contracts of employment, ensuring that these are accepted with the set time limit.
- Ensure that all new starters have their relevant qualifications recorded and uploaded to their electronic file.
**2. Training**
Provide support to the HR and Training Administrator and in the absence of the HR & Training Administrator in the provision of an efficient and effective training programme by:
- Co-ordinating with Home Managers for staff attending face to face training courses.
- Work with our training provider to ensure all attendance at face-to-face courses are recorded.
- Provide support and advice to staff regarding sign up to e-learning accounts.
- Develop an excellent working relationship with the training provider.
- Plan yearly training activity to ensure maximum attendance.
- Forward plan for contingency so that extra courses can be avoided (i.e., cancellations due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances).
- Monitor all training required for each role and dates undertaken/renewal dates.
- Produce training reports for the HR Manager and Operations team.
- Support staff in e-learning (flexibility is required to support night staff).
- Provide recruitment training on Dayforce to Home Managers and Administrators.
- Provide Safer Recruitment Training in person.
**3. General HR tasks**
- Uploading HR documents into Employees electronic file.
- Prepare standard references and issue to external parties.
- Supporting all aspects of the business with any system errors/issues.
- Managing the HR inbox, responding to general queries, and escalating complex issues to the HR Manager and HR Advisor.
**4. Production of workforce management reports in relation to recruitment for all homes including**:
- Staffing budgets against vacancies.
- Vacancy monitoring.
- Agency usage.
**5. Other**:
- General administrative support to the wider Silverline Care organisation, for example taking enquiries in Support Office with regards to interest in residing in one of our care homes.
