As our Legacy and In Memory Officer, you’ll develop and deliver campaigns to inspire people to protect nature through a gift in their will and use your people skills to help us strengthen relationships with existing legacy pledgers.**Contact details**:
Legacies are a vital source of income for the Wildlife Trust. The purpose of this role is to increase the number of supporters who include a gift in their will, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing legacy pledgers, and to raise awareness of the importance and impact of gifts in wills and in memory giving to a wider audience. The role will include:

- Developing and delivering campaigns to promote and increase legacy and in memory giving
- Writing copy for our website, Local Wildlife magazine and other media
- Writing an annual legacy newsletter
- Responding sensitively to enquiries about gifts in wills, in memory giving and green burials
- Recording enquirers and legacy pledgers on our database (Charity CRM) and processing donations
- Administering and reporting on our free and discounted wills services

If you have at least a year’s experience in fundraising or marketing, excellent customer service skills, a calm and professional telephone manner, are comfortable juggling a variety of tasks and working in a busy team and would like to make a difference for local wildlife, this could be the role for you
