**About the Opportunity**
This diverse role will be responsible for the developing and delivery of the JFS capabilities across the Defence portfolio.
**Reporting to the business Operations Director you will**:
- Manage the business capacity to meet the staffing requirement of projects, assign personnel to projects, and help support the hiring of new employees.
- Support the Project team in understanding the needs and wants of the portfolio along with supporting the HR function in the management of the current resources.
- Involved in the Facilities and Logistics Management, the role will be to maintain business capability to deliver the project needs across the portfolio.
- Assigning available staff to projects based on their skills and experience.
- Assisting in identifying capability gaps and the hiring of new staff in accordance with project budgets.
- Providing project managers with ongoing resource management and related support.
- Monitoring employee utilisation, workload, and overtime hours.
- Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.
- Collaborating on resource management with internal departments.
- Controlling the business histogram with support from the Project Delivery Team.
**Here’s What You’ll Need**: Essential Qualifications & Experience**:
- Experience of working within Nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations
- Knowledge and Experience with managing Supervision and Craft within a Nuclear Environment.
- CSCS Black Card holder.
- SC or DV Cleared.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the NAECI and CIJC Agreement.
**Desirable**:
- Project Management experience.
- Knowledge and Experience with Management of Contractors in a Nuclear Environment.
