Position: Lubrication Coordinator
Location: Customer Site, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
Hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
About FUCHS:

About the Customer:
Our customer is a multinational personal care company that primilarly manufacturers paper-based consumer products including sanitary paper goods, and surgical and medical equipment. They are seen as the Global market leader for paper production in this sector.
The Person:
Must be a highly motivated ‘hands on’ adaptable person with high personal standards capable and excellent communication skills, willing to work in close co-operation with our customers operators and management.
Typical Duties:
- This role will involve both office and shop floor duties.
- Manage work schedule and site technicians,
- Handling and distribution of lubricants,
- Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting.
- Day to day involvement in the lubrication programme of plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule to develop an overall understanding of all activities provided to the customer,
- Carrying out oil changes and machine cleanouts,
- Daily and weekly meetings with the site management team,
- Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
- Ideally experienced mechanical maintenance technician.
- Proven mechanical experience required.
- Ideally experienced with lubrication applicants.
- Ability to lead projects.
- Ability to work using own initiative.
- Working on own initiative this is a ‘hands on’ operations role carrying out fluid management duties.
- Good communications skills and PC skills are essential.
