**Project Officer - Glasgow - £43,240 to £54,859 + Company Car**:

As a Project Officer for National Gas, you'll plan, oversee, coordinate and document all aspects of specific projects. You’ll assist in developing scope, coordinating design phases and monitoring project delivery. You'll manage all planned work using allocated resources to produce a cost-effective, customer-focused and efficient service within budget.

You'll supervise project life cycle activities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that business objectives and efficient work practices are met. You'll know the difference between SCO 1,2, 91 and 94 and the operation and maintenance of high and low pressure gas networks will be second nature to you.

Other responsibilities will include keeping contractors updated on new techniques and codes of practice, managing and supervising multi-disciplined teams and undertaking competency reviews, STC's, site audits and driving value through staff engagement.

You must hold a valid UK car driving licence and be happy with frequent visits to other sites across the North of England and Scotland so expect some travel and overnight stays.
