We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Support Administrator to join our Application Support team on a permanent basis

**Overview of the role**

Reporting to the Application Support Team Leader, the post holder will:

- Act as First Line support HR and Finance systems including processes, system questions and issue resolution.
- Design and test system configuration including workflows, batch jobs and processes
- Produce and maintain relevant documentation in an agreed format and location
- Maintain the integrity of workforce structures within the HR system ensuring timely changes to positions and the organisation’s hierarchy are reflected accurately in the HR system
- Provide accurate basic reports and data extracts to assist with Management KPI information
- Adhere to internal quality standards and statutory compliance i.e. HMRC rules, Data Protection Act.
- Experience of working within a system administration role and control environment.
- Experience of working with HR & Finance systems
- Understanding of parameters, lookup tables, workflow creation, batch jobs and rules (Desirable)
- Experience working with data extracts, manipulation and analysis (some SQL experience desirable)
- Professional IT Qualification (Desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail, methodical, logical and analytical approach to problem solving
- Technically competent with evidence of self-development and a natural curiosity for system development.
- Highly organised self-starter with strong ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Excel skills including use of VLookup, Pivot Tables, formulas, creating visuals (graphs, dashboards)
- Demonstrate excellent, customer focused communication skills, able to interact with all level of users across the organisation with tact and diplomacy to enhance the end user experience.
