**Quality Control Testing Assistant**

Working in the Quality Control area of the Quality Assurance Department you will be working as a QC Testing Assistant and will be responsible for monitoring the quality and safety of Prima Cheese Ltd’s product from raw material to finished product testing alongside the Food Safety Programmes. Adherence to, all quality, food safety and sanitation guidelines related to the processing of the company’s products. Previous experience within a similar position would be advantageous.

You must also be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. An eye for detail is also a must.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities: (list is not exhaustive)**
- Developing, maintaining, and verifying internal checks such as Incoming Goods (Raw Materials) testing;
- Conducting and monitoring finished product testing and recording on Cheese testing database;
- Developing, controlling, and updating procedures in relation to Cheese testing;
- Checking Incoming goods documentation and Certificate of Analysis for each raw materials delivery and Product Specification;
- Scanning and maintaining paperwork;
- Organising and making the samples for Export and Customer Care Departments;
- Controlling non - conforming raw materials (quarantined product);
- Investigate internal product quality incidents;
- Managing the Quarantine database;
- Dealing with any issues involving raw materials out of specification during delivery and communicate this to the suppliers;
- Traceability checking;
- By product control;
- Cheese waste control;
- Testing and reserving raw materials for production;
- Reserving product for customers;
- Investigating customer complaints;
- Investigating Returned Product;
- Supplier approval and specification maintenance;
- Monitoring Supplier Performance Analysis;
- Checking and validating blend and starch checks;
- Responsible for cleaning and preparing production knives;
- Support QA team, if required;
- Validating improving shelf life;
- Other Ad hoc duties.

This is an hourly paid position for 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday and the shifts are on a two-week rolling shift pattern working Day Shift and Back Shift.

Thursday: 06:00-14:00

Friday: 06:00-14:00

**Back Shift**

Monday: 13:00-22:00

Tuesday: 13:00-22:00

Wednesday: 14:00-22:00

Thursday: 14:00-22:00

Friday: 13:00-19:00
