A great opportunity has arisen for a Buildings Technical Inspector to join a growing and reputable property and construction company, based in the Stafford area.
My client is an excellent and well-respected name within their particular sector and the role is part of their long term housing strategy.

As a buildings inspector you will be part of a well established and growing maintenance and compliance team.
The Technical Inspector will be responsible for conducting in depth technical building inspections including pre/post inspections and stock condition surveys.
You’ll be using your diagnostic skills to propose solutions to effectively deal with defects and develop detailed specifications of work based on inspection findings and raise works orders.
Technical Inspectors also provide technical support for all reactive repairs, maintenance, disrepair, complaints, HHSRS and stock improvement works to ensure assets are maintained.
**What we’re looking for**:
- HNC qualified within a construction related discipline, post Qualifying Experience
- Experience of defect diagnosis within domestic buildings
- Knowledge of environmental and property legislation, with a focus on housing
- Understanding of relevant Statutory Regulations relating to Housing providers; including, but not limited to: Asbestos awareness, Building Regulations, Gas and Electrical safety, CDM.
