Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Asset Inspector in Newport, Wales. This exciting opportunity involves working with our operational teams to resolve potential or actual distribution/leakage issues, ensuring the highest level of service for our customers.

About the Role

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the water industry and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As an Asset Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating a keen willingness to work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
  • Achieving and maintaining area leakage targets.
  • Reacting to and working alongside other departments during Silver & Gold incidents.
  • Ensuring GIS updates are submitted to the GIS bureau to maintain high-quality information.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with internal departments, company partners, and contractors.
  • A sound understanding of Microsoft software packages, including Excel, Word, Access, and SAP.
  • The drive and ambition to provide a first-class service to our customers.
