We are looking for an exceptional Head of Policy and Public Affairs for a 12 month fixed-term contract. This person will lead the policy conversation around apprenticeships in the UK, creating the conditions necessary for apprenticeships to thrive.

You’ll be our most persuasive advocate with UK policy makers and our trusted expert on the opportunities policy can create for the business.

In the run up to a general election, you’ll be tasked with establishing and advocating for Multiverse’s position on apprenticeship regulation, ensuring we are having conversations with the right stakeholders across the political spectrum.

You will bring external knowledge to internal business decisions and ensure that key executive stakeholders are kept up to date with information that will impact the business.

**Role deliverables**:

- Work with policy makers, think tanks and like-minded organisations to define and raise awareness for apprenticeships in general, and Multiverse in particular
- Establish a clear strategy and process to establishing an internal Multiverse position on a variety of regulatory issues relating to apprenticeships in the run up to a general election
- Lead on bringing an external policy perspective to company decision making, from product design to regional market expansion
- Manage an external agency

**About you**:

- You are passionate about apprenticeships and their capacity for opening up access to great careers
- You are able to demonstrate a track record of success in policy and public affairs in a UK political context
- You will likely have 5+ years in a policy, public affairs or advocacy role, including demonstrable impact in a commercial, start-up or agency enviornment
- You communicate with clarity and simplicity to a wide range of audiences - as comfortable speaking to early career apprentices as experienced policy makers
- An action orientated advocate, able to connect public policy with business value
- An enthusiast for data driven analysis, most comfortable with making arguments that are rooted in facts and logic.

You’ll join the B2C Marketing team to lead our activities that result in the greatest number of apprentices getting placed with employers. This includes apprentices at the start of their career and those established professionals.

You’ll be a cross functional partner to UK and US Sales Directors, the Global Admissions Director and Product Directors to match demand from companies with a supply of talented apprentices from diverse backgrounds. Across the Marketing org you’ll work closely with CRM, Content and Growth managers to achieve your goals.

You’ll bring first-rate marketing or consulting expertise, including experience in partnerships, events and working with sales and tech teams to drive results. You thrive working in a fast-moving environment, use facts & data to make decisions and are comfortable with ambiguity.

**Specifically**:

- You’ll own the strategy for maximising the number of apprentices we onboard at major accounts. You’ll do this through activities such as holding bespoke events (live or digital), conduct LinkedIn targeting campaigns, building landing pages and optimising the user experience.
- You’ll conduct re-engagement campaigns, offer user incentives and re-imagine the activation moment for apprentices to maximise the total market opportunity.
- You’ll set up and maintain B2C partnerships to bring diverse talent to the Multiverse platform and fulfil on early career deals
- You’ll bring a best in class test & learn approach to improve channel performance
- Collaborate with CRM and Growth teams to drive conversion from first point of contact with the website
- Design a compelling ‘sell’ with the content team so that prospective apprentices understand how an apprenticeship in Tech can turbo charge their career
- Work closely with UK sales leaders to understand our GTM strategy, product suite and apprentice and client needs
