**Job Role**: Senior Fundraiser - Individual Giving

**Salary**:£29,000 per year

**Hours**:Full time 37.5 hours per week

**Contract type**:Permanent

**Additional information**:

- Occasional evening work may be required.

**The Role**:
To support the Senior Fundraising Manager to recruit and retain new donors from across the South West and establish a cohesive supporter journey which optimises lifetime value of their gifts and can develop our approach to individual giving and increase the lifetime value of our supporters’ donations. You will be part of a small fundraising team where each member is given autonomy to innovate in their area and establish ambitious strategies for growth.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Working with the Senior Fundraising Manager to develop an individual giving strategy to increase donor acquisition, engagement, and income.
- Working with the Senior Events & Community Fundraiser to transform event engagement and fundraising into individual gifts and regular giving.
- Designing our legacy case for support and embedding this in the supporter journey for donors with potential to remember Julian House in their wills.
- Monitoring activities to ensure we are achieving a strong return on investment and delivering according to budgets.
- Keeping abreast of current sector legislation and best practice and making sure Julian House's fundraising activity is in line with legislation such as GDPR.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Experience of leading fundraising activity relating to individual giving, regular giving and / or legacies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent your organisation to a range of stakeholders and create high-quality written content for fundraising.
- Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.
