**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The role of JLR’s Corporate Affairs & Motorsport department is to protect and promote our brand to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Corporate Affairs & Motorsport owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high quality, integrated and impactful communications to engage, align and influence across all stakeholders. That includes internal and external audiences - including the effective management of Jaguar Land Rover’s communication channels.

This role will support the communication and engagement of our global internal communications agenda including copywriting, producing and disseminating engaging and impactful communications.

As a compelling storyteller, the role will creatively source and deliver a consistent flow of compelling content reflecting our transformation priorities and business critical activities including Human Resources, Wellbeing, Purpose and other chapter (function) global communications.

It will also involve working cross-functionally to develop strong stakeholder engagement as well as working with colleagues at all levels from across the business to agree activity and create consistent and clear messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate the company’s global internal communication channels including the weekly UK non-manufacturing operational newsletter
- Work with the wider Internal Communications team to develop, collate and identify compelling stories and features and elevate across all channels reflecting our Purpose and Creators’ Code (behaviours)
- Create and deliver JLR wide digital employee communications campaigns
- Manage the process of filtering our global employee data ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Use data and metrics to report and provide feedback on engagement good practice
- Assist large-scale experiential events - bringing vehicles, brand and people engagement to our people
- Support process of auditing the impact of communications and make recommendations for improvement.
- Support the Internal Communications team with various administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc., as required
- Develop opportunities to enhance and improve existing communications channels.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

As the Global Internal Communications Officer, you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written
- Must be able to produce communications which is relevant and comprehendible for all levels of the company
- Ability to identify good stories from across the business
- Commercially astute - used to working in a business environment
- Able to negotiate and influence across the organisation
- Strong ability to organise self, and prioritise workload in order to meet tight deadlines
- A good level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Excel, Word and Power Point

Personal Profile:

- With essential communications and change management experience you will be a strong self-starter and have a solid understanding of internal communications channels - including previous experience of using software such as Poppulo - and the social space.
- A strong and creative communicator, you’ll have an exceptional storytelling ability and an eye for what makes a great story as well as excellent content creation skills for use across traditional and digital platforms (filming/editing).
- You’ll have the ability to influence multiple stakeholders, both inside and outside the business, and form strong networks.
- You must be a strong and independent self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running, work flexibly and perform under pressure to tight deadlines.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
