**Global Strategic Buyer - 39088 - £38.20/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)**

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Global Strategic Buyer to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team in Warwick. This contract Global Strategic Buyer role offers an Umbrella Rate of £38.20/hr (inside IR35) for your dedication.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will have Global responsibility for specific commodities on behalf of the company. You will utilise your experience to analyse, define, and implement market and sourcing strategies for your designated commodities. Hybrid working options are available.

During your first few weeks in this Global Strategic Buyer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:

- Managing suppliers within your designated commodities, taking responsibility for Supplier Business Reviews
- Ensuring that the Global Commodity Strategy and Supply Base Market strategy is effectively deployed throughout all of the company and the external supply chain
- Supporting and working closely with the Regional Delivery teams and engaging with specialists within the Purchasing Function as required to ensure optimum value creation and delivery
- Directing supplier negotiations and contracting with the support of the Regional teams, including legal and financial approval pre-SCPA, also engaging specialist teams where appropriate

We are looking for a Global Strategic Buyer who works independently, is results-driven, and demonstrates tenacity, drive, and perseverance.

- Capability to create high-quality long-term purchasing strategies
- Resilient and enthusiastic individual who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs
- Excellent communicator who can communicate effectively with key stakeholders to influence cross-functional engagement
- An effective team player who actively develops and supports team members

You'll receive an excellent umbrella contract rate of £38.20/hr in return for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
