Estates and Facilities Management are seeking a Building Information Coordinator to lead a team of staff responsible for the maintenance of technical drawings and Asset information for all University buildings; ensuring that the team provides an excellent service to colleagues across all areas of the Department.

They will lead on the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) within Estates and Facilities Management working with Capital Projects and the Engineering functions to develop and implement BIM specific processes, protocols, documentation, and technical standards for the capture of information associated with buildings, maintenance, and compliance in line with the strategic ambitions of the department.

Alongside this you will have excellent administrative skills, the ability to prioritise, identify and solve problems and to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and wider university stakeholders.

Estates and Facilities Management is a multi-disciplinary organisation responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the University’s two campuses in Loughborough and London. The team deliver a range of hard and soft services ensuring the effective and sustainable management of the University’s land, buildings and biodiverse landscapes. This includes delivery of the capital building, refurbishment, long-term planned, compliance, and reactive maintenance programme where there is continual improvement of the estate.
