**The Role**:
Leidos are looking for an experienced **Security Compliance **Officer** to join the UK Security Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support and assurance to projects throughout the UK portfolio, ensuring that contractual security requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented.
- Actively lead on the implementation and management of bespoke Security Aspects Letter requirements throughout contract or framework duration.
- Ensure that records of contractual security obligations are established and maintained to allow ease of reference.
- Lead as a security advisor on security policy requirements, industry security best practice and project security risks, including the delivery of bespoke security inductions and briefings.
- Design and execute audit procedures to assess and measure company compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Lead the escalation and resolution of risk and compliance issues with appropriate stakeholders.
- Support business development capture activities, including the writing of pre-qualification questionnaire and bid security responses - maintaining a library of security and compliance responses.
- Manage the delivery and assurance of supply chain security requirements, ensuring fully compliant flow down to suppliers in accordance with customer policies and procedures.
- Lead annual and ad-hoc assurance activities on in-scope suppliers, ensuring risks are appropriately identified, escalated and managed.
- Support the assurance of company and customer Cyber Security Assurance requirements where required.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with key security personnel in customer, partner and supplier organisations.
- Create, review and update company security policies, practices and procedures.
- Lead the response to security incidents - manage and conduct security investigations.
- Respond to customer requests for security assurance.
- Deliver tailored security education and training initiatives appropriate to audience and requirements.
