We are on a transformation journey, and are looking for a Head of Central Operations to join our team.

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll provide excellent support to stores, defining the operating and communication model and lead operational plans and excellence. You’ll do this by being the voice of retail in all key meetings and ensure that all store feedback is presented to relevant stakeholders, and actions are driven to successful resolution.

You’ll design an optimum store operating model to simplify processes, reduce inefficient workload and drive consistency across our 200 stores. You will also lead the Central Operations Team to plan and streamline all activity and communication to our stores and take ownership for supplier management. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all costs are managed and reduced.

In this role you’ll work with the teams to build communication plans, ensuring relevant engagement points are delivered to Area and Store teams, and own and drive the communication strategy ensuring timely communication of business activity.

You’ll be the guardian of all processes that impact our store operations, ensuring that all processes are mapped, maintaining an accurate and updated suite of process guides. Identify changes that can be made to our processes to drive simplification and efficiencies in our stores, and work alongside functional colleagues to drive changes.

**How you will qualify for the role**

You’ll have an excellent understanding of a Store Operations and the ability to manage a complex agenda at pace with others across the business.

You’ll be highly planned and analytical, with the ability to analyse and interpret data, identify problems, and drive solutions and be customer and commercially focussed/astute with strong numerical and financial skills.

By using your strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal and influencing skills, you’ll ensure collaborative working and establish and maintain the strong reputation of Central Operations.
